Picosure LASER Tattoo Removal

Course Objective

This certificate course will train the individual on the most powerful and most effective laser technology on the market today. Picosure is a Picosecond laser used to treat common skin problems like pigmentation, acne scars, sun exposure and tattoo removal.

 

A strong focus will be placed on safety and client soap charting of services.

 

Spa therapists wishing to add these in-demand skill sets to their current offerings, will benefit from additional opportunities within this sector.

 

The training will cover the following:

  • Introduction to tattoo removal

  • About the Picosure device

  • How to treat at three wavelengths

  • How to treat enlarged pores, acne, and acne scars

  • Identify Fitzpatrick skin typing and classification

  • Client selection and consultation

  • Indications and contraindications

  • Treatment protocols and release forms

  • SOAP charting and pre- and post-treatment recommendations

 

Pre-requisite: Laser Certificate
